Click here to download your audio>>> East Coast Recital a Huge Success Thank you to everyone that attended the recital at Elizabethtown College. It was a great pleasure to perform and work with everyone to make the event a major success over the weekend. A special thanks to Dr. Justin Badgerow who provided all his artistic talents and musical inspiration during a wonderful set of rehearsals and performance. The snow followed me back to Austin covering the city for 24 hours. It was beautiful. Texas Jazz Festival Thank You and Prayer Thank you to everyone that joined Tiburon for a wonderful concert. It was filled with lots of energy and great music. My deepest thoughts and prayers go to Tony Campise who suffered a major head injury from a fall that Friday night at our hotel. He is currently in Austin after intense brain surgery and is recovering to the best of his ability. Please send your prayers to this strong man and my God bless him with the opportunity to play his horn again. David Box Joins the Cannonball Musical Instrument Family |
David is proud to announce that he has joined the Cannonball Musical Instrument company and is now endorsed by the leading saxophone manufacturer in the United States. "After attending a concert to see Branford in Lufkin, TX while he was on his Brasilieras tour, I tried out his horn in the dressing room to get his opinion on two new mouthpieces that were made for me. It only took a few seconds to realize that the Cannonball he had drew my interest away from the mouthpieces. I now play on a Silver Lacquer Lady Godiva tenor, and a Amber Lacquer Godiva alto. Every other horn in my collection is going to be getting a long rest." A Joyful Journey: Kindermusik Graduation David joined this years young graduating class at A Joyful Journey for their Kindermusik graduation. He provided demonstrations and performances for the students and parents on Saxophone, Flute, and Clarinet and started a wonderful canon on Row, Row, Row your boat while being accompanied by the students with their recorders, dulcimer, and glockenspiels.
David Box Saxophone Quartet The David Box Saxophone Quartet had a very successful debut performance at Blackerby Concert Hall on April 26th. Watch a portion of the concert here from UStream.
